My first wedding of 2019, and it sure did not disappoint. On May 18th, Justina and Casey married at the Saturn Club in Buffalo NY, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Justina, unlike some brides, was as calm as calm could be and smiled non stop that entire morning. Casey anxiously awaited to see his bride, as she was just on the other side of the door during their sweet exchanging of gifts pre-ceremony. They could hear each others voices, they held hands but they saved that first glance for the moment Justina began walking down that aisle. Casey took a deep breath and held his hands to his mouth as he saw her for the first time, Justinas Mom cried in the front row as her Grandma sat next to the chair reserved with Justinas Grandpas baseball cap. There was not a dry eye in the house. The ceremony was filled with lots of laughter, beatiful poem readings and vows that could knock you right off your feet. Following the ceremony, guests headed to the Gorgeous Delaware Mansion for cocktail hour and to party the night away.

Keeping with a family tradition, Grandpa got up with his crew and sang the sweetest version of Proud Mary I’ve ever witnessed! Two guitarest backed his vocals up and he worked that dance floor, getting everyone up and out of their seats and kicking off the night with a bang!

One thing I will say about Justina and Caseys wedding, is their venues were amazing, their cake, the dresses, the suits, the florals.. you get it.. but it was abundantly clear through the gorgeous simplicity of their day that while they wanted the day to be one to remember and gorgeous.. to them, it was not about the stuff. It was about the moments. About really taking in every second and letting it all soak in. That is what it is really about.

I feel so lucky to have been asked to be a part of it all!
